Pac Man!

A friend saw these online, and wanted me to try, they turned out stinkin' cute!

A bit time consuming, and I didn't have just the right colors, but still, you can tell what it's supposed to be!!

Gobble, gobble....don't let the ghosts catch you!!

Pink with Lime Polka Tips

Very simple and straightforward. Bright pink base, I used one that had some shimmer in it.  Then use your dotter to make bigger dots, and then make some littler ones.  Topcoat it all  and you're ready to roll!!

Elegant Floral

A very subdued pattern,  on a pinky base.

The flower is done with a gold art pen, then accented with Black and White.  The dots are white, with gold and black teensy ones.  I also did a thin black line on the small toes.

Topcoat :D

Faux Fish Scales and Glitter

Coral base color to begin.   Add glitter coat on about 2/3 of the nail.   Then use a navy art pen to draw scallops, just alternate the ending points...

then draw a line to divide the scales and glitter.  When it's dry, add your topcoat, and there you go!!

Reverse Colors

This one is a bit funky.  My motivation was that if I put color on my tips, it chips off within the day...so I tried putting the color down low, over a sheer base color.  Then I sharpened the edges with a navy art pen, so it looks kind of torn.  I realize this might not be everyone's favorite, but if you want something that different...
there you go :D
Oh, and a top coat is essential!

Pink with Flower Tips

This one is pretty basic,  a candy pink base, then dot on teal flowers, with orange centers.
Then use a navy blue art pen or dotting tool, and dot a line just under the flowers! Cute and fun.
Don't forget the topcoat :D

Neutral with Multi Dots

I saw a picture that gave me this idea.   I found a really pretty neutral color for the base, any would do, the more opaque, the easier it will be.

Pick the color's you'd like for you dots, at least 3, but as many as five would work.  I chose white, lime green and purple.  Dot on the first color, and try to do some bigger, some smaller, work in a curve around a corner.

Keep adding more colors, take a pause to let each one dry a bit so you don't smear.  When you've gotten the effect you like, let dry, and then add your topcoat!  Voila!!

Teal Tips with Stems and Dots

These designs are on a gel nail I attempted myself, I wasn't impressed with the gel nail, but thought I'd post the design at least :P   Just did a teal tip with a nail art pen, did some navy blue stripes with another pen, and white tempera paint dots.  Very simple, just enough color!  Don't forget the ever-present TOPCOAT!!

Red Zebra Corners and Polka Dots

Paint a bright red base.  Let dry completely, then paint on black corners on toes, white corners on fingers.  Use the opposite white or black to fill in dots and striping.  Topcoat!!

Zebra Blues

Start with white pearly base, then add zebra stripes with a striping brush, leaving an space at the top of the nail.   Then carefully draw on a thin tip with a teal art pen.  Seal with topcoat!

French Blue

Start with a shimmery white underlay, this one has several different shades, looks bluish in this picture.  Then put on a bright blue tip with nail polish, I just apply carefully with the normal brush.   Then took a navy blue art pen and drew on the design, finish with topcoat :D

Polka Dotties

For a little girl, or a big girl, simple polka dotting on a clear base, very sweet and just enough color!  Used a nail art pen and don't forget to seal with a topcoat!

Birthday Toes

Did these on my daughter for her birthday, bright fluorescent orange then painted a white party hat on the big toe and detailed it with a black paint pen.  Put white dots with black centers on the littler nails!  Topcoat of course for shine!

Crackle and Pop

Got some new crackle paint, it's cool stuff!   Here I did a gold toned paint underneath, and accented with a teal fourth finger.  Then added a thick coat ( the thicker it is, the better the crackle) of silver crackle, and the clear topcoat!

Simple French Nails with Dots

Started with a lavendar sheer, then painted on a very thin tip with a striping paint.  Very tiny black dots with a nail art pen, and of course topcoat!

Stained Glass

I did a HD sparkle undercoat, in a light blue color, you want to be able to add your dark colors over the light color.  Then I added the random green and darker blue areas, don't try to make it even or it'll look funny.  Then trace around the sections with a black nail art pen.  Seal with a topcoat!

White undercoat, topped with a sheer blue, then green sparkles.  Corner plaid striping with a striper paint, and tiny dot flower with black tempera paint.  Seal with glossy topcoat!

Hot Pink with Yellow Polka Dots

Hot pink base, with a shimmer overcoat, dot on yellow tempera paint and seal with a topcoat!

Mod Stripes

This is a fun one.   Sparkly pink, then use a black stripe paint to make swirly stripes, add random
white dots along the stripes, top coat and done!

Under the Sea

Nothing fishy about this one, just the colors reminded me of the ocean...
Yellow underbase, kind of a sparkly yellow actually, with a sheer turquoise over the top.
Then I made curvy lines with a green stripe paint, and added random yellow craft paint dots.
